Delores was born February 19, 1931 in Grenada County, NE to Rudolf and Laura Wolter Bock. When Delores was four years old, she moved with her family to Beaver Dam, WI. She attended St. Stephen’s Parochial School and graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1949. After graduation, she attended St. Luke’s School of Nursing in Racine, WI, graduating in 1952. Delores received her Graduate Degree from Marion College in Fond du Lac. She was employed at Waupun Memorial Hospital and was the first female nurse at the Wisconsin State Prison. She retired from that position after 35 years of nursing. Delores was involved with AARP for over 20 years, serving as president for more than 10 years. She was also busy with the Waupun Memorial Hospital Auxiliary for many years.

Delores is survived by her brother, Robert (Arlene) Bock of Galva, IL and her sister, Betty (Conrad) Bartol of Citrus Springs, FL. She is further survived by her niece, Brenda (Ron) Spaeth of Campbellsport; a nephew, Tony (Chris) Bartol of Plymouth; a niece, Patty (Pete) Heying of Colgate; and a nephew, Ben (Dawn) Bartol of Menasha. She is also survived by great-nephews and niece, Nick, Mitch, Arik, Will, Lucas, Joey, T.C., Sam, and Abby; a great-great nephew, Nolan; and great-great nieces, Claire and Harper.

Delores was preceded in death by her father, Rudy in 1969; her mother, Laura in 1978; and a brother, Wayne in 2006.
