Henry was born May 30, 1917 in the town of Chester the son of Peter and Rose Schreiner Holbach. On May 29, 1941 he married Florence Ertl. Henry and Florence farmed in the Waupun area until 1968 at which time they moved to Waupun. Henry was employed at Green Giant Canning Company in Fox Lake for ten years and then for three years in Ripon. Henry then did outdoor maintenance for Waupun Memorial Hospital for seven years. On April 10, 1999 he married Delores Muetzenberg and they resided in Waupun. Henry was a lifelong member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waupun. Henry enjoyed fishing, traveling, and attending family sporting events. He was always lending a helping hand where it was needed. He loved spending time with his family and socializing with his many friends and neighbors. Wherever Henry went, someone always knew him.

Henry is survived by a son, Harold (Carolyn) Holbach of Waupun, daughter-in-law, Pat Holbach of Waupun; his grandchildren, John (Jodi) Holbach, Brian (Rita) Holbach, Tammy (Tyler) Welch, Peggy (Mark) Jahn, Shawn Holbach, Jim (Karla) Holbach, and Lori (Gary) Van Buren; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Melvin (Mildred) Holbach of Waupun; two sisters, Lauretta Peters of Horicon, and Virginia (Gene) Rake of Columbus; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Henry was preceded in death by his wife, Florence in 1996; his wife, Delores in 2010; a son, John Holbach in 1991; a great-granddaughter, Brianna Welch; three brothers, Wilfred, Richard and Edward Holbach; and two sisters, Rosella Frey and Florence Kovalaske.
