Condolences

  1. Phil Buteyn Says: May 14, 2018 at 4:21 pm

Dear Beth and Keith, our deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family at this sad time. While it can be said, “She lived 90 wonderful years…”, that longevity often serves to make it much harder to say goodbye. However, what makes Betty’s passing such a blessing is that she’s now with her Lord in Heaven.
    Sincerely,
    Phil and Joy Buteyn

“If dandelions were hard to grow, they would be most welcome on any lawn.” Andrew Mason
I was saddened to hear about the passing of Betty Schoonover. My fondest memory of Betty was her dislike of dandelions. When I worked at Prairie Ridge, I remember seeing Betty outside trying to rid the lawn of every dandelion. I enjoyed it when Betty came into my office almost everyday to have a conversation. Every evening around 4 o’clock Betty and several friends would sit in front of the fire place in the lobby drinking a glass of wine and eating a snack before the evening meal. Oftentimes, Betty and her friends would ask me to join, and I enjoyed the conversation. My sympathy to Betty’s family. “A wounded heart will heal in time, and when it does, the memory and love of our lost ones is sealed inside to comfort us.”
