James Lee Steinbach, 76, of rural Waupun was born into eternal life on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Agnesian Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac.
Jim was born July 17, 1937 in Milwaukee, the son of Herbert and Johanna Friese Steinbach. On March 28, 1959 he was united in marriage to Mary Jane Bishop in West Bend. Jim was a proud member of IBEW Local 494 for 52 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved spending time in the Northwoods with his family.
Jim is survived by his sons, Jeff (Lara) Steinbach of Franklin, WI, Jay (Shelly) Steinbach of Waupun, and Jason (Trista) Steinbach of Waupun; seven grandchildren, Heather (Justin) Smith, Justin Steinbach, Madalyn Steinbach, Molli Steinbach, Jesse Steinbach, Sarah Steinbach, and Jacob Steinbach; a great-grandchild, Nyah Smith; a brother, Donald (Pat) Steinbach of New Berlin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary; and his daughter, Deborah.
Jim’s children would like to express their sincere appreciation for the kindness extended to Jim while at both St. Agnes Hospital and Agnesian Hospice Home of Hope.
