Adam John Bentzen, age 40 of Beaver Dam, while at home, passed peacefully into the Lord's home on Monday, November 21, 2022.
A celebration of Adam's life will take place on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Adam was born in LaCrosse, WI on Monday, March 15, 1982 at St. Francis Medical Center at 5:29 a.m., the son of Willard "Bill" Edward and Barbara Jean Bentzen. Adam graduated from Beaver Dam Charter School in 2000. He went into construction and concrete, taking great pride in his work. He was the best finisher around.
Adam's best friend was a fishing pole; day or night you could find him casting a line into the water, and he was always the first one out ice fishing. His fish fries were the best. His best times were in the outdoors, camping, boating, hunting and more fishing.
His greatest achievements are his children and he cherished spending time with them. He taught them how to ride a bike, rollerblade, and fish. Adam loved sitting around campfires, roasting marshmallows, making s'mores, and telling stories. He had many great stories to tell.
Adam is survived by his children, Damian and Addison Posthuma, Taria, Jayna and Jerren Bentzen; his brothers, Seth Fane Bentzen and Eric Paul Charles and his children, Phoebe, Hazel and Oliver; his mother, Barbara Roberts. He leaves behind grandparents, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, many friends and loved ones.
Adam is proceeded in death by his father, Bill Bentzen.
