Alan J. Henke, 60 of Green Lake, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022 after a five-month battle against the pandemic that he fought to the very end. His last nine days were happily spent at home with his family.

Alan was born December 9, 1961 to the late Arden and Loretta Henke. He was raised on his family farm in Markesan. Alan was proceeded in death by his daughter Rebecca Ann Henke. Al enjoyed the outdoors; riding his motorcycle, and hunting, and fishing with his two sons Brian, 36 and Brett, 31. Al was also a rock for his grandchildren Lily, 13 and Lucas, 6. He was employed at American Packaging in Columbus. Alan is survived by his two sons, two grandchildren, three sisters, and brother.

A memorial cookout is being held in his honor at the American Legion Post 306 in Green Lake on March 13, between 12 and 5pm. All friends and family are welcome.
