Albert Carl Schwabe, age 79, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at Prairie Place Assisted Living in Ripon.

Albert was born in Elkhorn on December 19, 1942, the son of Fred and Agnes (Dahle) . He grew up in Zenda, WI on the family farm before joining the United States Army. A true Packer's fan, Albert attended games regularly, and if not at the game, he made popcorn and watched them from home. He also enjoyed watching war movies. In his younger years, he often spent time out hunting and was always tinkering, but never finishing, projects. He loved visiting the In-Laws cabin on Lake Redstone and continuing his tinkering with the kids on projects around the cabin. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and being a part of his motorcycle club.

Albert is survived by his children, Shelly Evans, Shar Schwabe, Mary (Dave) King, and Robert Schwabe; 7 grandchildren, Dustin, Sara (Walter), Patrick, Melanie (Nick), Dylan, Alysia (Jon), and Mackenzie (Dalton); 7 great-grandchildren, Will, Summer, Nevaeh, Evelynn, Leo, Zander, and Emberlynn; brother, Bill Schwabe; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carol; sister, Irene Schwabe; and other relatives.

In honoring Albert's wishes, private family services will be held.
