Alice M. Gentry, 85, of Waupun, died Wednesday afternoon, September 12, 2012 at the Christian Living Center in Waupun.
Alice was born January 11, 1927 in the town of Borth, WI, the daughter of Ernst and Bertha Mielke Buhrow. Alice was employed for 23 years as a supervisor at Ripon Good Cookies in Ripon, retiring in 1989.
Alice is survived by her husband, Billy Gentry of Waupun; a son, Bruce Elvers and wife, Kathy Stehn of Waupun; a daughter, Mimi (John) Jorgenson of Caledonia, WI; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Wilhemina Wagner of Shawano, WI, and Ethel Belfeuil of Omro, WI; and a brother, Clifford (Shirley) Buhrow of Winter Park, FL.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents; and several brothers and sisters.
Visitation:
Friends and relatives may call on the family on Friday at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun from 5-8 p.m. and on Saturday at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
Services:
Funeral services for Alice M. Gentry will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Pastor Rich Biermann officiating.
Burial:
Burial will follow at Forest Mound Cemetery in Waupun.
