Alvin Mulder, 87, completed his journey on this earth and was welcomed into the loving arms of his faithful Savior on Monday August 3, 2015, at St Agnes Hospital. Alvin had resided at Marvin’s Manor.

Alvin was born April 2, 1928 at the family home near Alto to Albert and Jennie Navis Mulder. Alvin attended Oak Grove School and early in life became a farmer. He enjoyed being a 4-H woodworking leader and volunteered at Bargains Galore, and the Fox Lake Correctional Institution Bible Study.

Alvin and Lenore were blessed with 64 years of marriage. They walked faithfully with the Lord and are survived by five children, Susan (Jim) Anema of Janesville, Tom Mulder of Randolph, Bruce (Doris) Mulder of Beloit, Stuart (Karen) Mulder of Fox Lake, and Gayle (Dave) Kroon of Atwood, MI; 17 grandchildren, Jennifer (Doug) Pruim, Mike (Tanya) Anema, Matt (Shana) Anema, Beth (Greg) Torres, Erin (Joshua) King, Christopher (Taera) Mulder, Brian (Jodi) Mulder, Charlie (Melissa) Mulder, David (Robin) Mulder, Grant (Leah) Mulder, Alyssa Mulder, Lerae (Colin McWhertor) Kroon, Anna (Mark) Sonnen, Jenice (Jesse) Steenwyk, Evan Kroon, Abigail Kroon, and Graham Kroon; 23 great-grandchildren; brothers, Willis and Harold (Gert) and sisters Julia Broadway and Catherine (Frank) De Jager and brothers and sisters-in-law Georgene Mulder, Joan Mulder, Carol and Wayne Sandee, Roland and Eunice Dirkse.
