Alysa M. Sadowski age 13 of Beaver Dam passed away unexpectedly on Wed. May 9, 2007 in Beaver Dam. She was born on March 17, 1994 in Neenah, WI to Scott J. and Ann M. (nee Pittler) Sadowski
Alysa was a 7th grade student at Beaver Dam Middle School where she participated in several school activities including; Student Council where she just attended a leadership council in Green Bay, Volleyball, Track, played the Cello for four years in orchestra and was also on the High Honor Roll. Some of her other interests were playing softball for the past two years and recently joined the Tornadoes, Swan City Ice Skaters where she synchronized skated for three years and just completed her second year of solo skating. Alysa loved family camping trips and the outdoors, especially riding the A.T.V. at home and up north. "Artsy" projects were something she really enjoyed, scrapbooking, taking pictures with her digital camera, baking, and anything having to do with pigs. Alysa was a member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish in Beaver Dam participating in religious education and for the past two years she and her mother carved pumpkins to be delivered to the elderly and area nursing homes.
To say that Alysa was a socialite would be an understatement. She was always on the go and always very nurturing, caring, had an infectious smile and loved helping others. She dreamed of being a Pediatric Physician or a Teacher. Friends and Family were very important to her and she will be sadly missed.
Alysa is survived by her parents, Scott (Ann) Sadowski and a brother Parker all of Beaver Dam, Paternal Grandparents, Jerry (Marilea) Reinke of Beaver Dam and Maternal Grandparents, Robert (Patricia) Pittler of Fond du Lac. Aunts and Uncles: Lisa (Joe Nowak) Butterbrodt, Lori Norenberg, Steven (Kris) Sadowski, Brian (Julie) Sadowski, Tim (Jackie Reinke) Pittler, Tammy (Jim) Jansen and Mark (Janel) Pittler. Alysa is further survived by several cousins, other relatives and many friends.
She is preceded in death by her Paternal and Maternal Great-Grandparents, her Grandfather James Sadowski and an uncle, Gene Norenberg.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Sat. May 12, 2007 at 11:00a.m. at St. Katharine Drexel Parish, 511 S. Spring St. in Beaver Dam with Rev. Fr. John Schreiter as Celebrant. Visitation for Alysa will be on Friday, May 11, 2007 from 4-8p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services in Beaver Dam. There will also be visitation on Sat. May 12, 2007 from 10-11 at St. Katharine Drexel Parish in Beaver Dam. Burial will take place at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery in Beaver Dam. In a special tribute to Alysa and her appreciation for a cookout, a Brat fry will follow at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services in Beaver Dam.
