Ambrose J. Yaucher passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024 at the age of 86.

A memorial gathering for Ambrose J. Yaucher will be held on January 4, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. and will be followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam.  Friends and family are invited to attend to celebrate his life and share memories. Burial will follow at St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery in Beaver Dam.

He was born in Beaver Dam, WI on December 7, 1938 to William and Mary Yaucher. He graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1957 and entered the Army following High School. He was stationed in Germany and was honorably discharged in 1967.  He married Luana Hess in 1968 and they had two children Bridget and Brian. He joined employment at John Deere in Horicon, WI in 1968 and worked there until his retirement on June 1, 2000.

Ambrose enjoyed the outdoors, working in his yard, watching his grandkids sports and meeting his friends at McDonalds for coffee.

Ambrose is survived by his children, Bridget (Mike) Celichowski of Chattanooga, TN; Brian (Ndidi) Yaucher of Verona, WI; his five grandchildren, Qynn Celichowski, Ashlyn Celichowski, Alexis Yaucher, Preston Yaucher, Marshall Yaucher;  and ex-wife and lifelong friend, Luana Hess. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary; and his brother, William (Billy) Yaucher.

If desired, memorials in Ambrose's name may be directed to a charity of your choice. Ambrose's legacy will live on through his children and grandchildren, who will continue to cherish the memories and values he instilled in them.
