Ann Marie Schweiger, age 65, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 3, 2015, as a result of pulmonary fibrosis, secondary to rheumatoid arthritis. She was born on January 13, 1950, in Beaver Dam, WI to Clarence and Laura (Thill) Schweiger.

Ann graduated from Beaver Dam Senior High School in 1968 and the University of Wisconsin in Platteville in 1972. She began her career in Columbia, MO. In 1978, Ann moved to Phoenix, AZ where she worked in and then supervised the Microbiology Department of the Laboratory at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center for 37 years.

She will be remembered for being hard working and full of fun. She made and nurtured good, lifelong friendships. Till the last, whenever asked, she insisted, "I'm fine!"

Ann is survived by brothers John (Rose), Thomas, and Paul (Jo Anne) and sisters Rita (Mark) Tuel, Jean (Bill) Roder, and best-caring Alice. She is also survived by loving nephews, nieces, relatives, and dear friends and co-workers.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Laura, sisters-in-law Nancy Schweiger and Vicki Schweiger, nephew Derick Bantz, niece-in-law Annette Johnston, and best companion and pet Sophie.

A Memorial Service for Ann will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Katharine Drexel Parish, 511 S. Spring St. in Beaver Dam with Fr. Mike Erwin officiating. Visitation will also be held on Thursday, October 8, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Inurnment will take place at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery in Beaver Dam immediately following the service.
