Annette Lovejoy, age 80, went to be with her Lord on November 16, 2025, after passing away unexpectedly at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac.
Annette was born in Hustisford, Wisconsin on April 1, 1945, the daughter of Roland and Beulah (Owens) Justman. She was born again into God’s kingdom of grace through holy baptism on May 6, 1945. She made her solemn vow of confirmation to the Lord on October 19, 1958. Annette graduated from Hartford Union High School and pursued further education at the Dodge County Teachers College. She met Frank Lovejoy at the Dodge County Fair and they were united in marriage on December 21, 1968 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in the township of Herman. After marriage, Annette initially devoted her time to her family, caring for her children, and later returned to the classroom. She worked as a teacher's aide at Herman Consolidated Elementary School from 1982 until her retirement in 2004. After retirement she devoted her life to caring and nurturing her grandkids and great grandkids, who were the joy of her life. She had a green thumb and took pride in nurturing her plants, loved to cross-stitch, enjoyed the company of her birds, and was known for her delicious desserts. A member of Grace Lutheran Church in Waupun, she found great comfort in her faith.
Annette is survived by her husband of 56 years, Frank Lovejoy; her children, Frank Jr. (Shelly) Lovejoy, Roxanne (special friend Jeff Huff) Lovejoy, Howard (Tania) Lovejoy, and Charles (Stephanie) Lovejoy; 18 grandchildren, including Kristin (Jason) Lohry, Alyssa (Travis) Anderson, Christopher (Ashlie) Morinville, Makayla (Brady) McGuire, Cole (Misty) Lovejoy, Austyn (Kevin) Lovejoy-Gillmore, Gracelyn Lovejoy, Jed Lovejoy, Christian Lovejoy, Shaliyah Lovejoy, Stephen Ausmus, Alex (Samantha) Marchenkuski, Tyler (fiancée Baylee Babcock) Lovejoy, Colton (special friend Mattie Isaac) Lovejoy, Abigail Lovejoy, Mitchell Lovejoy, Dylan (Hailey) Bortz, Ashley (Dylan) Shreves; 17 great-grandchildren; her sister, Christine (Chuck) Budnick; her brother, Dennis (Carol) Justman, her brother Lewie (Kelly Crain) Justman and brother-in-law George Schroeder; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
