Arla M. Brunn, age 80 of Beaver Dam, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.

Visitation for Arla will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Seth Dorn will officiate. Burial will take place at Highland Memory Gardens with a luncheon to be served back at Cornerstone.

Arla was born on May 6, 1936 in Markesan, the daughter of Harold and Sadie (Riemer) Schmuhl. She was united in marriage to Wilferd Brunn on September 14, 1958. She was a member of St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam. She was active in dairy farming, and enjoyed tending to her houseplants and gardening.

Arla is survived by her sons, Kenneth Schmuhl (Deb Loeck) and Duane (Susan) Brunn, both of Beaver Dam; her sister, Kathryn Neitzel of Beaver Dam; her grandchildren, Steven (LeAnn) Link, Jeremy (Amy) Schmuhl, Michael (Jaime) Schmuhl, Jeffery (Mandi) Schmuhl, Dustin (Elizabeth) Brunn, Matthew (Kayla) Brunn and Cody Brunn; great-grandchildren, Kaleb, Kelin and Hayden; and further survived by other relatives and friends.

Arla was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her step-mother, Charlotte Schmuhl; brother-in-law, Eldon Neitzel; and special friend of over 20 years, Don Schwobe.
