Arlene A. Hoeck, age 77 of Markesan, passed away at home on Monday, August 8, 2022.

Visitation for Arlene will take place on Monday, August 15, 2022 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 181 S. Main St., Markesan, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. A graveside service will follow at Manchester Cemetery.

Arlene was born in Ripon on August 27, 1944, the daughter of Fred L. and Irene E. (Schroeder) Sell. She grew up on the farm and cherished the memories she made there. She enjoyed watching birds with her faithful companion, her cat Coco, as well as baking, cooking, and working on jigsaw and crossword puzzles. Arlene was a loving mother and devoted grandmother who loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Arlene is survived by her children, Anthony of Fairwater and Teresa (Mark) of Janesville; grandchildren, Angelica (Bradley), Casey, and Rose; siblings, Darlene Sell and Ronnie Leanheart; niece, Angela Miller; and further survived by other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Vera in infancy; and other relatives.
