Audrey J. Grams, age 88 of Markesan, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Markesan Resident Home.

A graveside service for Audrey will take place on Friday, September 2, 2022 at Markesan Memorial Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. with Rev. Jason Jobs officiating.

Audrey was born in the Town of Manchester on May 4, 1934 the daughter of Elmer and Frieda (Milbrandt) Quade. She was a 1952 graduate of Markesan High School and worked at Speed Queen in Ripon and Fred Mathweg Car Dealership in Markesan. On October 5, 1952 she was united in marriage to her husband, Richard Grams at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Manchester. Both Audrey and Richard were very social and enjoyed playing cards, bowling, and playing cribbage. An extremely avid reader, she often could be found finishing book after book.  Audrey was a long-time member at St. John's Lutheran Church in Markesan.

Audrey is survived by many nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, Arnold (Patricia) Grams; and further survived by other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard; siblings, George, Walter, Edna, and Georgian; brother-in-law, Durwood Grams; sisters-in-law, Eunice Grams and Shirley White; and other relatives.
