Barbara A. Wright, age 59 of Beaver Dam, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at U.W. Hospital in Madison.
Barbara was born on July 10, 1953 to Glenn F. And Mary Ruth (nee Sigler) Taylor. Although born in Georgia, she spend most of her younger years growing up in Santa Fe, New Mexico, an area she holds closely to her heart. In her teens, Barbara moved to Delaware where she completed her education and began her family. She was blessed with two daughters, Trisha and Tanna Wright. On February 14, 1975, she met and married William J. Wright. They remained caring friends (albeit mostly sarcastically) even after their marriage was dissolved in 1989, even still sharing holidays and occasional family gatherings together during her years in Wisconsin.
Barbara was creative, inspiring, and had a spunky sense of humor. She enjoyed painting, writing, quilting, and crafting. As a lover of the outdoors, she loved planting flowers and tending to her garden. She spent many of her summers canning vegetables and making homemade jams. Barbara was a strong, loving woman who overcame some of life's toughest obstacles. She taught those around her that life was a gift and your family should be loved and cherished each and every day.
Barbara is survived by her two daughters, Trisha and Tanna Wright, four grandsons, Micah, and Brady Wright (Trisha) and Kyle and Ryan Jarogoske (Tanna), all of Beaver Dam; the father of her children, Bill Wright of Beaver Dam; two sisters-in-law, Sandi Comley (Michael) of Maryland and Shirley (Alvin) Bell of Kansas; her cousins, Joyce Bloom, Carol Watkins and Thomas (Cheryl) Sigler, all of Delaware; her life-long friend, Pam Purdy-Myers of California, as well as many other relatives.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn F. Lemmon and Mary R. Taylor (Sigler), her brother, Michael Lemmon, and her sister-in-law, Linda Buckingham.
