Obituary

Barbara Ann C. Hardinger, age 84 of Beaver Dam, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025 at Hillside Manor in Beaver Dam.

A memorial gathering for Barbara will take place on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 12:30 p.m.

Barbara was born in Wausau on August 20, 1941, the daughter of Ray and Alma (Leffel) Bauman. On June 16, 1962, she was united in marriage to her husband, Kenneth G. Hardinger in Marshfield.  Barbara retired from Clearview after spending most of her career working in the food service department. She loved art, especially painting and crafting, and was rarely seen without one of her hats. She cherished her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved spending time with them.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Kenneth Hardinger; children, Mike (Mary) Hardinger, Linda Fine, and Danyelle (Selepri) Amachree; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Dennis Bauman; brother-in-law, Jer Strack; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Arley Bauman, Donna Strack, and James (Viola) Bauman; grandchild, Rachel Hardinger; and other relatives.
