Beatrice " Bea" Wendt, age 63 of Waupun, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 25, 2012 at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac with her family by her side.
Bea was born on November 22, 1948 in Beaver Dam to Wayne and Rosemary (nee Zahn) Vander Galien. She graduated from Mayville High School and later attended beauty school in Appleton. Beatrice was united in marriage to Kenneth Wendt Sr. in Juneau. Later in life Bea enjoyed quiet time on the couch watching television, especially the Packers and NASCAR races. There were a few simple things that could really put a smile on her face, including shopping trips with her sister and participating in the ice races in Fox Lake. Bea was a true gift to have as a part of our lives. Not only was she a mother, grandmother and sister, she was a passionate caring, dedicated and strong willed person to the ones she loved and never expected anything in return. She did various types of work including, taking care of her grandchildren for many years and working at the rod and gun club in Fall River for over twenty years. Bea had endured many hardships in her lifetime, but that never let her down. She was a loving and supportive mother and "father" to her two boys and a wonderful grandmother who was always there for anything you needed no matter what. The family would like to thank the caretakers and the women from dialysis who made a difference in her life. She will be so dearly missed by her family and friends.
