Betty J. Knoll, age 84, of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 5, 2010.

Betty was born on August 3, 1926 in Beaver Dam to Lester and Susan (nee Taylor) Bearder. Betty was a graduate of Beaver Dam High School and was united in marriage to Jean "Budd" Knoll on April 26, 1946 in Beaver Dam.

Betty worked doing various clerical jobs in Beaver Dam. She loved to collect angels and porcelain dolls. Betty also loved the outdoors, whether it was watching mourning doves and butterflies out her window or the cherished time she spent with her husband Budd hunting.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Sandra Knoll of California; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her sisters, Mary Ann (Dwight) DeSalva of Green Bay and Susan Bearder of California; and her sister-in-law, Betty Knaack of Beaver Dam. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jean "Budd" Knoll on July 31, 2009, her daughter, Susan Knoll in 1984 and her brother, Ernie Bearder.

A Memorial Service for Betty will be held on Friday, September 10, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd, Beaver Dam. Visitation will take place on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Inurnment will immediately follow the service at Highland Memory Gardens in the Town of Trenton. Light refreshments will be served following the inurment at the funeral home.
