Betty R. Johnson, age 84 of Beaver Dam, passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024 at The Charleston House – Memory Care in Beaver Dam.

A memorial gathering for Betty will take place on Sunday, November 3, 2024 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1:00 p.m.

Betty was born in Missouri on December 12, 1939 and spent most of her life in Madison, WI, working for the JC Penny there for many years. Betty was an avid Badgers fan and also cheered for the Chicago Bears. She loved attending her grandchildren's events and spending time with them. She also enjoyed playing cards.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Sandi (Bill) Thorsen; grandchildren, Jaimie (Alex) Lloyd, Leah (Brandon) Grob, and Joel Thorsen; great-grandchildren, Eli, Grace and Josiah Lloyd; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by parents; father of Sandi, Melvin Johnson; and other relatives.
