Beverly M. Hoyt, age 81 of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at her son's home in Oshkosh.

Beverly was born on April 26, 1930 in Beaver Dam to Rueben and Rebecca (nee Young) Linde. She graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1948 and in 1952 she was united in marriage to Donald O. Hoyt in Beaver Dam. Beverly had an eye for fashion and loved traveling and golfing, most recently at the Beaver Dam Country Club. She was a strong independent person, especially in her later years. She was a member of Trinity Church - United Methodist in Beaver Dam and was very involved in numerous community groups. She was a fabulous cook and enjoyed getting together with her "second cousins" for informal lunch gatherings. Beverly was very easy going and her fun loving spirit will be deeply missed.

Beverly is survived by her children, James (Julie) Hoyt of Oshkosh, Susan (Taro) Perry of Beaver Dam, John Hoyt of Ashland City, TN, Cara (Roger) Burr of Kingston Springs, TN; grandchildren, Tyler, Taryn, Sarah and Anna Hoyt and her great-grandchildren, Aeryn and Leona Penn. She is further survived by a sister-in-law, Ellie Linde of Beaver Dam, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, husband Don Hoyt in 1998, brother Emroy Linde, sister Rosemarie (Duane) Sabatke along with other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service for Beverly will take place on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd. in Beaver Dam with Rev. Eileen Kuehnl officiating. Visitation will be held prior to the Service at the funeral home beginning at 2:00 p.m.
