Brenda Joyce Frazier, age 65 of Arena, WI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 25, 2013 at Agrace HospiceCare, Madison.

Brenda was born on June 23, 1948 in Lansing, MI to Drew Carl and Orpha Adeline (nee Hamilton) Frazier. She received her Master's Degree from UW-Stout and delivered her thesis on women's health to the World Health Organization in Seattle, WA. Brenda worked as a counselor for the State of Wisconsin, assisting people living with HIV/Aids. She was a strong advocate for women's rights, an avid reader and enjoyed quilting, scrapbooking with her sisters, hiking, fishing and the outdoors.

Brenda is survived by her life partner, Susie Rodger of Arena, WI; her children, Todd (Susan) Frazier of Woodbury, MN and Tonya Luck of Beaver Dam; her grandchildren, Morgan, Ty and Noah Frazier, Nate and Taylor Luck; her mother, Orpha Frazier of Appleton; her siblings, Dennis Frazier of Nashville, TN, Diane (Dave) Edwards of Beaver Dam, Stephan (Ann) Frazier of Oshkosh, Allen (Pam) Frazier of Searcy, AR, Kathy (Mark) Knoll of Beaver Dam, Curt (Karen) Frazier of Appleton and Bryan (April) Frazier of Searcy, AR; a very special great-niece, Arianna Subera, along with many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father and other relatives.

A Memorial Gathering in honor of Brenda's life will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam. Family Remembrances will begin at 7:00 p.m. at Cornerstone.
