Carol Virginia Braemer, age 92 of Horicon and formerly of Beaver Dam, passed away on Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at UW-Hospital in Madison.
A memorial gathering for Carol will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam. Inurnment will take place at Highland Memory Gardens, town of Trenton, at a later date.
Carol was born on December 20, 1926 in Beaver Dam, the daughter of LeRoy and Vesta (Livermore) Ehlenfeldt. A graduate of Beaver Dam High School, she enjoyed being a cheerleader and playing in the band. She was united in marriage to LeRoy Earl Braemer in Beaver Dam. Raising her family, attending all of their children's events and going to the YMCA kept her busy in her earlier years, while keeping up with her grandchildren kept her young at heart. She enjoyed making cards on her computer, checking Facebook, playing bingo, fishing and volunteering. Traveling was a favorite pastime, especially when she was visiting family and friends.
Carol is survived by her children, Mike (Dixie) Braemer of Algoma, Cindy LaCasse of Colorado and Virginia "Ginny" (Larry) Fideler of Kewaskum; son-in-law, Gene Ousterling of San Jose, CA; 9 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; 2 sisters-in-law, Alice Ehlenfeldt of Beaver Dam and Adeline "Toody" Ehlenfeldt of Burnett; and further survived by other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, LeRoy; daughter, Lee; 3 brothers; 1 sister and other relatives.
