Carolyn M. Prill, age 74 of Markesan, passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at the Markesan Resident Home.

Visitation for Carolyn will be held on Monday, September 18, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Lutheran Church, 65 W. Catherine St. in Markesan with Rev. Jason Jobs officiating. Private family burial will take place at Manchester Cemetery.

Carolyn was born on October 31, 1942 in Ripon, the daughter of Bruno and Iva (Kraft) Sell. She graduated from Markesan High School in 1960. On November 9, 1963, Carolyn was united in marriage to Alvin Prill at St. John's Lutheran Church in Markesan, where she was a longtime member. Carolyn worked for Diedrich Insurance Agency for many years. Her hobbies included bowling, shooting pool, and doing plastic canvas and needle point. She was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and was especially fond of Brett Favre. She loved Elvis and made several trips to Nashville, TN and Branson, MO with friends.

Carolyn is survived by her sons, Ken (Joann) Prill of Markesan and Jeff Prill of Brandon; step-daughter, Leora (Terry) Loechelt of Fairwater; four step-grandchildren, Jessica Schumacher of Brandon, Patricia Salzman (special friend Bob) of Harrisville, Andrew (Sara) Scharschmidt of Brandon and Angela Loechelt of Ripon; brother, Michael (Dale) Sell of Glendale, AZ; brother-in-law, Lowell Prill of Alto; sister-in-law, Patricia Prill of Markesan; and further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Alvin on January 15, 1973.
