Charles "Chuck" L. Koehn, age 92 of Markesan, died of a broken heart on December 6, 2023 at Waupun Memorial Hospital.

Chuck was born on June 28, 1931, the son of Herman and Cecelia (Buckholtz) Koehn. He proudly served his country as an aviation electronics technician in the United States Navy, stationed in Memphis, Jacksonville, and Key West. On July 26, 1958, he was united in marriage to his wife, Edith Riguelle, in Milwaukee. Chuck continued his career as an electrician, eventually retiring from Pieper Electric. He worked hard and played hard, enjoying wild family reunions. Playing horseshoes was one of his favorite hobbies, and he participated in tournaments around the state. He also liked to go bowling. Possessing an eclectic taste, he was known to accumulate many different trinkets. In his younger years, he loved to go fishing and hunting, and most of all, Chuck cherished the road trips he took with his wife all over the country.

Chuck is survived children, Gary Rolbiecki, Karen (John) Janovetz, Tim (Shelly) Koehn, Steve (Karen) Koehn, and Christopher (Jenine) Koehn; stepson, Garth (Jeanne) Rolbiecki; daughter-in-law, Christie Rolbiecki; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Brezgel; brother-in-law, Ed Sorteberg; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife, Edith on November 27, 2023; sisters, Geraldine (Arnold) Ellis, Vivian (Gene) Jordan, Betty (Paul) Pukis, Shirley (Rocky) Liend, Cecelia (Nick) Weber, Patricia Sorteberg; brothers, Herman (Margaret) Koehn, Robert (Betty) Koehn, and Kenny (Barbara) Koehn; brother-in-law, Don Brezgel; and other relatives.

In honoring his wishes, private family services will be held.
