Cheryl Lynn (Nebl) Grulke, passed away on July 15, 2024, at Agrace Hospice Care in Fitchburg, Wisconsin, after a courageous battle with brain cancer. Born to Ardell Stutz and John Nebl on July 19, 1949, in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, Cheryl was a treasured part of the Nebl family, sister to Jean, Nancy, Sandy and late brother Robert.

A memorial gathering honor and celebrate Cheryl's life will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2024,  at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, located at 135 Keller Boulevard, Beaver Dam, Wisconsin from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Inurnment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Beaver Dam, Wisconsin.

A graduate of Beaver Dam High School in 1967, Cheryl worked various administrative and secretarial jobs throughout her career, including several years for the State of Wisconsin and as principal's secretary at Beaver Dam High School prior to retirement.

Cheryl was a woman of faith, avid reader, gardener and coffee drinker. She was a considerate and dear friend to many and enjoyed life in its simplicity – cooking, connecting with friends, attending a craft fair or buying gifts for those she loved. During retirement, Cheryl enjoyed traveling and new experiences, visiting places like Minnesota, Michigan, Washington, D.C. and northern Wisconsin.

Cheryl married Daniel Grulke at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. Cheryl's unconditional love extended to her two children, Brenda and Brian, who remember her as nurturing and compassionate, always offering words of encouragement or reminiscing about her childhood. Her two grandchildren, Calin and Anila, will carry her legacy of kindness, love and joy.

Predeceased by her parents and her brother Robert, Cheryl's memory will be cherished and kept alive by her husband Daniel, her children, grandchildren, daughter-in-law Kim, sisters, and a community that was better for having known her. Cheryl will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will continue to guide and inspire all who were blessed to know her.

Memorials in Cheryl's honor may be addressed to Peace Lutheran Church, Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. Additionally, donations can be made to a charity of your choice or local Animal Humane Society.
