Obituary

Cheryl Ann Helen Vossekuil, age 78, of Juneau, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025.

A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025 from 10a.m.-12 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services in Beaver Dam. A memorial service will follow at the funeral home at 12 p.m.

Cheryl Ann was born on January 2, 1947, in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Mildred and Martin C. Brunet, Sr.   A devoted homemaker, Cheryl Ann dedicated herself to creating a warm and loving environment for her family. She married her husband, Thomas Vossekuil Jr., on October 1, 1966, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in West Allis. Cheryl Ann's passion for cooking was renowned among her family and friends. She was a great cook who loved experimenting with recipes and sharing her culinary creations with loved ones. Beyond the kitchen, Cheryl found joy in watching cooking shows and reminiscing over classic episodes of The Golden Girls

Cheryl Ann's heart swelled with pride for her grandchildren, who brought boundless joy to her life. She delighted in hearing about their accomplishments and embraced every moment spent with them. She was also a devoted pet owner, cherishing her dogs and the companionship they provided. Cheryl Ann had a unique collection of dolls, which she found much pride in

Cheryl Ann leaves behind her loving husband, Thomas Vossekuil; her children, David C. Vossekuil, Gregory T. (Lisa) Vossekuil, and Michael (Sara) Vossekuil; her six grandchildren, Murphy Vossekuil, Geneva Vossekuil, Leah Vossekuil, Preston Vossekuil, Frank Vossekuil, and Alex Johnson. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters: Martin (Joanne) Brunet, Douglas (Linda) Brunet, and Gail Brunet; her brother-in-law, William (Louise) Vossekuil; her sister-in-law, Betty Capen; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will remember her fondly.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Mildred; and her in-laws, Thomas (Edna) Vossekuil Sr., and other relatives.
