Christine M. Schlei, age 73 of Beaver Dam, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2020 at Clearview Nursing and Rehabilitation in Juneau.

Christine was born in Chicago on December 20, 1946, the daughter of Doris and Irving Brier. She was united in marriage to Scott Schlei. After retiring from Xerox, where she worked for 37 years, she worked for Waukesha Engine. Christine loved sports; in her free time she umpired for men's softball and was the former president of the Wisconsin Men's Softball Association. She could be found cheering on and watching her granddaughters in volleyball, basketball, softball and dance, and was an avid fan of the Packers, Badgers, Brewers, and Bucks. Chris also loved attending the Special Olympics at MATC, Bowling in a couple's league with Scott, as well as being in the outdoors camping.

Christine is survived by her husband, Scott Schlei of Beaver Dam; daughter, Nadine (Dan) Allen of Beaver Dam; grandchildren, McKenzie, Haley and Megan Allen; father and mother in-law Verne and Donna Schlei, siblings, Michael Brier, Linda Larson, Diane Jennings, Donnie (LuAnn) Brier, Pam (Jack) Woods, and Mary Lou Rusnak; sister-in-law, Wanda Brier; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bobby and Phillip Brier; and other relatives.

Services for Christine will be held at a later date.
