Craig A. Hummelmeier, age 59 of Beaver Dam, lost his battle with cancer at home on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.

A memorial gathering for Craig will take place on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Chris Davis officiating. Inurnment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery at a later date.

Craig was born on December 23, 1962, to Gerald and Betty Hummelmeier at the Lutheran hospital in Beaver Dam. He was a 1982 graduate of Beaver Dam High School. Craig worked at numerous places in his life, but was mostly known for working at the outdoor movie theater and the theater downtown, as well as Centurian Hatchery and lastly, McDonald's. He liked all sports, and it was shown by all of the different jerseys and caps he purchased in his time here. He enjoyed watching the games at many of the local establishments with his friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gomer and Winnifred Pritchard, Carl and Clara Hummelmeier; and infant brother, Mark.

Survivors include his parents, Gerald and Betty Hummelmeier; brother, Todd (Terry) Hummelmeier; nephews, Adam Hummelmeier and Cole Hummelmeier; nieces, Clara Hummelmeier and Lindsey Vanderkolk; great-nephew, Breslin Vanderkolk; and further survived by many, many friends and other relatives.
