Obituary

Craig R. Conway, age 57 of Beaver Dam, died unexpectedly on Monday, August 16, 2010 in the town of Ixonia as the result of a motorcycle accident.

Craig was born on June 18, 1953 to Don and Arlyene (nee Gossman) Conway in Seattle Washington. He attended University of California-Berkeley on a track scholarship. Craig worked for JTS Direct in Hartland as a Production Manager. He was an excellent cook and also had a knack for computers and video games. He treasured his family and always looked forward spending time with them. He enjoyed being outdoors, whether it was doing yard work, watching thunderstorms, building a playhouse for his kids or going to the beach. Craig loved music, movies, South Park and NFL football, with his favorite team being the Oakland Raiders. Craig had a great personality and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Craig leaves behind his three children, Sarah (Peter Troyer) Conway of Edina, MN, Sean and Stacy Conway, both of Beaver Dam, and close friend of the family Greg Kolak of Madison; his mother, Arlyene Conway of Campbell, CA; his step-mother, Connie Conway of Cannon Beach, OR; and his three sisters, Daune R. Spritzer of La Center, WA, Paula M. Stalker of Medford, OR and Erin D. Adams of Sheridan, WY. He is further survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Craig was preceded in death by his father and other relatives.

A Memorial Gathering will take place on Friday, August 20, 2010 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd in Beaver Dam.
