Curtis "Curt" Allan Pape, age 66 of Beaver Dam, passed away in his sleep at home on Thursday, June 26, 2025.

A memorial gathering for Curt will take place on Sunday, July 20, 2025, at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 1:00 pm.

Curt was born in Milwaukee on September 20, 1958, the son of Warren and Carol (Miksch) Pape. He spent over 30 years working at Piggly Wiggly in the Meat Department where he not only demonstrated dedication and hard work but also formed lasting friendships with customers and colleagues alike. Curt enjoyed watching sports; especially cheering on the Packers and Brewers, bowling, golf, and NASCAR. In his younger years, he liked playing slow-pitch softball, golf and pool. He had a lifelong passion for collecting coins, never passing up the opportunity to look through a change jar for the chance at finding a coin to add to his collection. Curt will be remembered fondly by those who knew him as a kind and gentle soul who brightened the lives around him with his great sense of humor and love for the simple things in life.

Curt is survived by his children, Kevin (Alyssa) Pape, Jessica (David) Sibley, and Erica (Mike) Chernysh; grandchildren,  Kiara, Grayson, Addie, Weston, Esmée, and Conrad; siblings, Gail (Ken) Bickel, Russ (Lisa) Pape, Michael Pape; sister-in-law, Lynn Pape; special friend, Deb Jones; best friend, Paul "Gilly" Gillingham; former wife, Lori Fetting; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends;

He was preceded by his parents, Warren and Carol Pape, brother, Doug Pape; niece, Alyssa Pape; and other relatives.
