Cynthia A. Gallitz

Cynthia “Cindy” Ann Gallitz, age 64 of Beaver Dam, passed away at home on Sunday, May 31, 2026.

Cindy was born in Columbus on May 17, 1962, the daughter of Eugene Gallitz and Eleanor Mary (Kasper) Soldner. She worked at Crossroads Nursing Home in Sun Prairie as an activity director for many years, where she shared her love of crafts and organizing parties with the residents, whom she loved and cared for greatly. She also had a passion for cooking and catering for parties. In her free time, she could be found reading a book or gardening. Cindy cherished her dog, Elvis and loved her grandchildren unconditionally.

Cindy is survived by her children, Kyle (Monica) Firari and Travis (Mary) Firari; grandchildren, Adeline, Jayce, Roman, and Briar; siblings, Mike (Lisa) Gallitz, Tom (Kathy) Gallitz, Russ (Dawne) Soldner, Randy (Brenda) Soldner, and Tammie (David) Deloy; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Gallitz; mother, Eleanor (Alton) Soldner: and other relatives.

Visitation for Cindy will take place on Friday, June 5, 2026 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services in Beaver Dam from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life gathering will follow the service at Just 1 More in Reeseville.
