Cynthia "Cindy" Marie Wuesthoff, 51, of Beaver Dam, was called home to heaven on Thursday, June 12, 2008 after a courageous 7 ½ year battle with Endometrial Stromal Sarcoma Cancer. Cindy was born on December 24, 1956 to Raymond and Sylvia Uttech, in Beaver Dam, Wis. She attended St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Day School through 8th grade and was confirmed in 1971. She graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1975. She participated in 4-H, played the flute in band, and was a member of madrigals. She lettered in volleyball, basketball, and softball, and was a wrestling cheerleader. She attended UW-Madison for 3 years, Oregon State for 1 semester, and graduated from Winona State University in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Education with Cum laude honors. On August 16, 1980 she was united in marriage to David Allan Wuesthoff at St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam, WI. She returned to school and received an Associate degree in Accounting from Moraine Park Technical College. She worked for Kraft Foods in Beaver Dam for 15 years. She was a lifetime member of St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church and a member of the handbell choir.

Her interests included bowling, slow pitch softball, volleyball, and sewing clothes for her children when they were young and Christmas decorations. She loved animals and cherished her dogs, even making them a birthday cake each year. Her children were her life and she never missed anything they were involved in from sports to music. One of her dreams was to see all 4 of her children singing together and she was able to at the 2006 SWAZZ concert. She was a caring and loving person and lived life to the fullest. She carried God with her everyday. Although she was ill she never let it get her down and was always there for her family when they needed her.

Survivors include her husband David, Beaver Dam; 4 children, Chloe (Jason) Komorowski, Beaver Dam; Adam (Colleen) Wuesthoff, Beaver Dam; Broc Wuesthoff, Beaver Dam; Chelli Wuesthoff, Beaver Dam; "grandchildren" Mazie (dog) and Oliver (cat) and her beloved dog Ty; parents, Raymond and Sylvia Uttech, Beaver Dam; 1 brother, Paul (Susan) Uttech; 2 sisters, Loretta Uttech, Beaver Dam; Nancy (Daniel) Braaksma, Beaver Dam; father and mother in-law, Roland Sr. and Anita Wuesthoff, Beaver Dam; 2 sisters in –law, Barbara Ramsay, Beaver Dam and Diana (Lee) Lebron, Milwaukee; 3 brothers in-law, Roland Jr. (Linn) Wuesthoff, Fox Lake; Richard (Sue) Wuesthoff, Beaver Dam; Dennis (Sue) Wuesthoff, Beaver Dam; she is further survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her aunts and uncles Roland and Cecelia Uttech; John and Florence Roberts; Carl Uttech, Howard Uttech, William J. Hemling Jr.; her grandparents William F. Sr. and Della Hemling and Henry and Lydia Uttech; and her beloved dogs Mo and Shadow.

Funeral Services for Cynthia will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at St. Stephen's Ev. Lutheran Church, 300 West St., Beaver Dam, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Philip Heyer officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Beaver Dam. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16, 2008 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd, Beaver Dam from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and also on Tuesday from 9:30a.m. until the time of Service at the church. Memorials may be directed to St. Stephens's Ev. Lutheran Church in Beaver Dam.
