Dale F. Marthaler, age 79 of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Dycora Transitional Health in Beaver Dam.

A memorial gathering for Dale will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Dale was born on February 5, 1938 in Beaver Dam, the son of Fred and Myrtle (Weeks) Marthaler. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was united in marriage to Judy Schmidt on February 20, 1960 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Beaver Dam. He owned and operated Marthaler & Sons Painting, as well as Marthaler Fire & Safety. He also played in several bands, including The Jayhawks and Rondo Rebels. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Dale is survived by his wife, Judy of Beaver Dam and his cat, Kittle Dickens, along with other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Richard in 2010 and other relatives.
