David Eugene Scaturro, age 77, of Beaver Dam, entered God's loving arms, peacefully, on Wednesday, January 22, 2014.
David was born in Chicago, IL on February 5, 1936. He married his cherished wife, Lucille Scaturro, April 23, 1967 and she survives. Also surviving are a son, David W. Scaturro; a daughter, Julie Fields; a daughter-in-law, Cindy Scaturro; a sister-in-law, Pat Cunningham; 2 granddaughters, Zoey Fields and Ellie Scaturro; and 3 grandsons, Isaac Fields, Tanner Fields and Sam Scaturro. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and brother and sister-in-laws.
David was a proud Navy veteran and retired from Pillsbury/Green Giant as a purchasing manager. He excelled at his career and took great pride in his work. David was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. There is nothing he was more proud of than his family and he devoted his life to them. He will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him.
A Funeral Service for David will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam with Deacon Ed Cody officiating. Visitation will take place at Cornerstone on Monday, January 27, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and also on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at Cornerstone. David will be laid to rest on Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.
