David Manful Horner, age 81 of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at his home.

David was born on September 11, 1934 in Wooster, OH, the son of Carl W. and Helen B. (Folk) Horner. He graduated from Wooster High School and proudly served his country as a United States Marine during the Korean War. He was united in marriage to Patricia Lewandowski on August 13, 1977 at Smithville Lutheran Church in Ohio. He worked as a machinist at Industrial Combustion in Monroe, WI and was a union member. David served as President of the church council at Barneveld Lutheran Church and an active member of the American Legion Post 433. He was an active Boy Scout Master, a Black Belt in Judo and coached youth baseball. He loved fishing, bowling and enjoyed taking his family camping in Northern Wisconsin, as well as traveling out West. He was an avid Packers and Badgers fan.

David is survived by his wife, Patricia of Beaver Dam; his children, Michael Horner of Massillon, OH, Cindy Jaczynski of Wynne, AR, Russell (Diane) Horner of Moreland, OH, Shawn (Letitia) Horner of Kidron, OH, Jason Horner of Beaver Dam, and Sean (Tonya) Horner of Beaver Dam; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and great-granddaughter, Adiana Fiting.
