Dawn Marie Wieland

Dawn Marie Wieland, age 62, of Burnett, died peacefully on Sunday, August 30, 2009 at Beaver Dam Community Hospital.
Dawn was born on May 16, 1947 to Harry and Elsie (nee Badding) Wieland in New York. She grew up in West Allis and later graduated from West Allis Central High School. Dawn worked as a cook, secretary and nurses aid. Some of her hobbies included; animals, the outdoors, cats, gardening and bird watching. Her family was very important to her and she especially cherished the time she spent with her daughter Cathy and her grandson Zachery. She will be deeply missed by her family.

Dawn is survived by her daughter, Cathy (Roland) Passow of Burnett, her grandson, Zachery Passow of Burnett, a sister, Sue Johnson of Milwaukee, a sister-in-law, Susie Wieland of Phillips, WI, a brother-in-law, Bob Hackbarth of Fredonia,WI and is further survived by extended family member and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Mary Hackbarth, a brother David Wieland and other family members.


A Memorial Service for Dawn will be held on Friday, September 11, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd. in Beaver Dam with Deacon Ed Cody officiating. A Memorial Gathering will take place on Friday, September 11, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of Service at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
