Deb Zimmerman

Debra "Deb" Zimmerman, age 65 of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully at her home with family by her side on October 25, 2026 following a short-term illness.

Debra Lynn Machkovech was born on August 4, 1961 in Beaver Dam, the daughter of Gerhardt and Jean (Reilly) Machkovech. She graduated from Beaver Dam High School, class of 1979. On February 7, 1981, she married Mike Zimmerman at Grace Presbyterian Church in Beaver Dam on a cold and snowy day. Deb farmed with her husband Mike but also held a variety of factory jobs over the years. Most recently, she was an assembler at Enerpac for the last 13 years and was looking forward to retirement this December to enjoy her cupcakes. Deb also enjoyed waitressing at Voelker's Steak House.

Deb was an avid Packers, Brewers, and Badgers fan. She also enjoyed bowling, going to local races, shopping with her daughter Andrea, having sister's night out on Wednesdays, and going out with Mike on Sundays for a couple Miller 64's on ice. Deb and Mike enjoyed many vacations, cruises, and NASCAR races, making sure to collect a shot glass from each adventure. Deb also enjoyed planting her beautiful flowers every spring, cooking for and spending time with her family and grandchildren, especially during the holidays.

Deb is survived by her husband of 45 years, Mike Zimmerman; children, Gina Zimmerman, Andrea (Kevin) Eilbes, and Kyle Zimmerman, all of Beaver Dam; grandchildren, Landyn Ganske, Brady Eilbes, Bryson Eilbes, and Addison Eilbes; sisters, Linda (Dick Crook) Garland and Terri (Jerome) Bashynski; brother, Greg (Lisa) Machkovech; sister-in-law, Lynn (Dan Gillis) Zimmerman; Deb is further survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and parents-in-law; brother, Steven; infant son, Paul Michael in 1991; and other relatives.

A celebration of Deb's life will be held on December 6, 2026 at Bayside Supper Club in Beaver Dam starting at 2:00 p.m. A celebration of life service with Pastor Chris Davis will take place at 3:00 p.m.
