Delores A. Pautsch, 83, of Waupun, died peacefully on Saturday, August 25, 2012 at Prairie Ridge Assisted Living in Waupun.
Delores was born October 30, 1928 in Fond du Lac the daughter of the late William and Alma Schmidt Mielke. On November 5, 1949 she married Milton Pautsch in Waupun and the couple lived in Waupun most of their married lives. Delores worked at Peter’s Coal & Oil in Waupun as a secretary and sales associate, and also helped her husband at Nash Waupun in the mid 1950’s. She enjoyed the craft and flower business where, because of her sales ability, established the Pautsch Wholesale distribution and party planning business from which she retired in the mid 1980’s. Delores was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Waupun. Delores and Milton enjoyed their retirement as they traveled throughout Wisconsin, attending many Polka festivals.
Delores is survived by her husband, Milton, of Waupun; a son, Floyd (Janis) Pautsch of Las Vegas, NV; two daughters, Bonnie (Sergei) Dyakin of Lakeville, MN and Joy (George) Hall of Columbus, WI; special niece Gwen (Gene) Zimmermann of Fox Lake, WI; five grandchildren; two special grandnieces; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Amber (Otto) Zills of Waupun.
Delores was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Betsey.
Visitation:
Friends and relatives may call on the family on Tuesday at the funeral home from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
Services:
Funeral services for Delores Pautsch will be held Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at 2 p.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Rev. Rolf Amundsen officiating.
Burial:
Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in the town of Trenton.
