Delores Scherer

Delores V. Scherer, 85, of Waupun, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at Marvin's Manor in Waupun.

Delores was born April 1,1932 in Hustisford, WI to Hans and Violet Bierman Schroeder. On October 1, 1955 Delores married James Scherer in Fond du Lac, WI. They lived in Waupun all their married lives. Delores loved dining out at various restaurants and weekend trips with her family. She enjoyed doing various activities such as going to Lambeau Field as well as craft fairs. She absolutely loved the Packers and the Brewers, but her pride and joy were her grandchildren and granddogs!

Delores is survived by her two daughters: Pamela Ann Braaksma of Randolph and Michele Lee Scherer of Omro; two grandchildren: Tyler James and Isabella Rose Braaksma; three brothers; Rolland (Barb) Schroeder of Alto, Gordon (Christine) Schroeder of Arizona, and Dennis (Christine) Schroeder of Beaver Dam; one sister, Mary VanRuiswyk of Waupun; and nieces and nephews.

Delores was preceded in death by her husband, James; and an infant brother.



Friends and relatives may call on the family on Monday at the funeral home from 2 p.m. until the time of service.



Funeral services for Delores V. Scherer will be held Monday, September 18, 2017 at 4 p.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Pastor Jessica Oosterhouse officiating.



Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in Town of Trenton.
