Dennis A. Miller, age 69 of Beaver Dam, died unexpectedly on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison.

Dennis was born on February 6, 1939 in Beaver Dam to Andrew and Cecelia (nee Boughton) Miller. He graduated from Beaver Dam High School in 1957. Starting in 1966, he worked at John Deere in Horicon for 30 years before retiring. On August 1, 1990, Dennis was united in marriage to Barbara Vanderbush. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling out West, and spending time with his family and friends.

Dennis is survived by his wife, Barbara of Beaver Dam; his children, Chris Miller of Manitowoc, WI, Belinda "Bea" (Paul) Conklin of Milton, WI, Jodi Miller of Adams, WI, and Matt (Amy) Miller of Greendale, WI; his step-children, Robert (Sheri) Weidman of Reeseville, Becky (Bob) Embertson of Juneau, and Bonny Rennhack of Beaver Dam; his grandchildren, Sara and Sean Conklin, Zachary and Lindsay Miller; his step-grandchildren, Tracy, Jessica and Miles Weidman, Jill (Alex) Majors, Jeff Embertson, Nicholas (Jessica) Rennhack, Brandon (Rebecca Braunschweig) Rennhack, and Andrea Rennhack; his step-great-grandchildren, Paris Rennhack and Dylan Majors; and his buddy, Gizmo. Dennis is further survived by other relatives and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother-in-law, Sam Vanderbush, and his step-son-in-law, Dale "Putz" Rennhack.

Visitation for Dennis will be on Tuesday, July 15, 2008 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. No formal funeral service will be held.
