Dolores M. Siewert, age 92, of Dalton, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 3, 2021 at Waupun Memorial Hospital.

A funeral is planned for Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Kingston, WI with Rev. Kurt Hagen officiating. Visitation will take place prior to the service at church, beginning at 10:00 a.m.  Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery, Dalton, WI.

Dolores was born April 25, 1929 in Marquette, Wisconsin to Harvey and Marie Holvenstot. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Marquette. Dolores attended Markesan High School. Dolores married Emery Siewert on June 23, 1947 at Zion Lutheran Church in Kingston, and she was blessed with two children. Dolores worked full time on the farm. She enjoyed gardening, baking, canning, and sewing. Dolores was a caregiver for her parents and husband before they passed. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and she cherished spending time with her family. Dolores was very dedicated to her family and enjoyed visits from them.

Dolores is survived by her sons, Richard (Nola) Siewert of Dalton, WI; Robert Siewert of Ellsworth, WI; grandchildren, Teresa (Brian) Wiersma, Amy (Billy John) Glover, Erin Witthun, Samantha (Danny) Leonard, Maxwell Siewert; great-grandchildren, Austin, Brianna, Ashtyn Wiersma, Alex (McKenna), Allen and Megan Glover, Emerson Witthun, Jacob and Grace Leonard; two nieces, JoAnn (Don) Wingers, Carol (Ray) Briones; one nephew, Neil Siewert and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marie and Harvey Holvenstot; her husband, Emery; grandson, Zachary Siewert, daughter- in- law, Jill Siewert; brother Glenn (Ruth) Holvenstot; sister in-law, Echolone (Henry) Siewert.

Our mom touched the lives of her family with her loving and protective demeanor.  Her Christian faith has sustained her and gave her strength throughout her life.

Her family would like to thank the staff at Waupun Memorial Hospital, Marshfield Medical Center - Beaver Dam and Dr. Joel Miller in Beaver Dam for his care.

A memorial has been established in her name.
