Dolores “Lolly” Stelsel, 79, of Waupun, died Monday, June 8, 2015 at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac.
Lolly was born September 14, 1935 in Byron, WI the daughter of William and Anna Weasler Wollenburg. In 1952 she married Phil Schelter. On July 12, 1966 she married Junior Stelsel. Following their marriage the couple resided in Waupun all their married lives. Lolly was employed at Mercury Marine for 27 years. She and Junior were avid snowmobilers and together enjoyed camping and bowling for many years. Lolly was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Waupun.
Lolly is survived by her husband, Junior Stelsel of Waupun; a daughter, Linda (Bill) Walker of Waupun; two grandsons: Bill (Jill) Walker of Waupun, and Dan (Renee) Walker of Waupun; and five great-grandchildren: Xander, Griffon, Ruby, Max, and Stella.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Verona and Leroy Vossekuil.
Visitation:
Friends and relatives of Lolly Stelsel may call on the family on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun and on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service.
Services:
Funeral services for Lolly Stelsel will be held Thursday, June 11, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home in Waupun with Rev. Lee Zortman officiating.
Burial:
Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens in the Town of Trenton.
