Dolores Werth, 63, of Waupun, died Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Waupun Memorial Hospital.
Dolores was born September 9, 1949 in Hartford the daughter of Roger and Ruth Kohl Degeler. On September 26, 1967 she married Fredrick Werth in Juneau. Following their marriage the couple farmed in the Neosho area for 10 years and then in the Waupun area for 30 years. Dolores was employed at Holliday Food and Sport for 17 years. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Fox Lake. She loved to crochet afghans, bake cookies, and also loved being a grandma.
Dolores is survived by her husband, Fredrick Werth; three children, Michele Werth of Waupun, Mary Werth (Brad Johnston) of Waupun, Monica (Rob) Miller of Markesan, and Jade Chinery, her English daughter; three grandchildren, Gavin, Hunter, Kynlee, and one on the way; her mother, Ruth Degeler; two sisters, Rosemary Gradl, and Della Zarczynski; a brother, Dale Degeler; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Dolores was preceded in death by her father, Roger Degeler.
Visitation:
Friends and relatives of Dolores Werth may call on the family on Monday from 4-7 p.m. at the Werner-Harmsen Funeral Home and on Tuesday at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
Services:
Funeral services for Dolores Werth will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Fox Lake with Rev. David Nottling officiating.
Burial:
Burial will follow at Forest Mound Cemetery in Waupun.
