Donald S. Meixner, age 63 of Beaver Dam, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison.
A memorial gathering for Donald will take place on Thursday, July 24, 2025 at Cornerstone Funeral & Cremation Services, 135 Keller Blvd., Beaver Dam from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Donald was born in Portage on August 26, 1961, the son of Donald H. and Loretta (Green) Meixner. He was united in marriage to his wife, Amanda (Rogers) Meixner April 11, 2003. He enjoyed blaring rock music, especially The Rolling Stones, working on cars, and collecting diecast cars. Don was dedicated to his work at The Fall River Foundry where he worked for 45 years. A hard worker and selfless man, he always went out of his way to help others. He was a man of many talents, making and building many different things. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his children and friends Phil Posthuma and Genevieve Meyer.
Donald is survived by his wife, Amanda Meixner; children, Meagan, Summer, Keegan, and Bailie Meixner; mother, Loretta Massey; grandchildren Kayleb Spanton and Morgan Meixner; siblings, Steve (Laurie) Meixner, Doug "Pork" (Kim) Meixner, Dean (Shelly) Clark, Gary Clark, Jeremy Johnson, Noel (Scott) Meixner, Sally (Glenn) Schultz; and further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Meixner; brother, Scott Meixner; sister, Julie Riege; brother, Ronald Clark; and other relatives.
The family would like to extend a huge thank you to Phil Posthuma and his family for the kindness he has shown not only to Don but his entire family.
