Dorothy A. Sieja, age 69 of Beaver Dam, died unexpectedly on Monday, September 28, 2009 at Beaver Dam Community Hospital.
Dorothy was born on January 22, 1940 in Chicago to Chester and Elsie (nee Florczyk) Wrona. She was united in marriage to Donald L. "Don" Sieja in Chicago on February 11, 1961. She enjoyed doing puzzles, playing bingo, cooking and vacationing to Las Vegas. Dorothy loved spending time with her grandchildren and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of the former St. Michael's Catholic Church in Beaver Dam.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, Don of Beaver Dam, Sue (Steve) Dixon of South Elgin, Illinois, Patti (Jack) Pasquale of Chicago and Bill (Barb) Sieja of Beaver Dam; three grandchildren, Michael and Anthony Pasquale and Brin Sieja; a brother, Richard (Paulette) Wrona of Texas and a sister Donna Hinchley of Illinois. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother-in-law Bob Hinchley and a sister-in-law Rita Wrona.
In honoring Dorothy's wishes, private family services will be held. Memorials may be directed to the family as a memorial fund for Autism is being established.
