Obituary
Mrs. Dorothy James, age 96 of Kingston, passed away peacefully at the Markesan Resident Home on Monday, April 27, 2015.
She was born in Chicago, IL on April 19, 1919 the daughter of Nick and Josie (Postma) Boomsma. On September 13, 1939, she was united in marriage to Wesley James.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Carol (Sherman) Griffin; son Wesley (Sandy) James along with 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, 1 sister and 1 brother, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Wesley on February 10, 1987, two sisters and five brothers.

A Funeral Service for Dorothy will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 316 Vine St., Kingston with Rev. Frank Rose officiating. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 from 4:00 -7:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Funeral Service, 181 S. Main St., Markesan and also on Thursday prior to the service at church, beginning at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow the service at Kingston Cemetery.
