Dorothy L. Zwolinski, age 92 of Beaver Dam, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 28, 2018 at home surrounded by her family.

Dorothy was born on September 5, 1925 in Wichita Falls, TX to Burnis and Esther (Menyard) Scruggs.  She was united in marriage to Marion "Bud" Zwolinski on April 27, 1944 in Milwaukee.  After living the majority of their life in Milwaukee, after retirement Bud and Dorothy moved to Phoenix, AZ in 1980. Years after Bud's passing, Dorothy moved to Beaver Dam to live with her daughter Leann in 2016. Dorothy loved reading, doing crossword puzzles and watching the birds. She was very health conscious and enjoyed exercising and doing aerobics. She was a member of Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in Phoenix.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Leandra "Leann" (Larry) Russell of Beaver Dam; grandchildren; Jamie (Bill) Schmidt of Des Moines, IA, Michael (Laura) Schutta of Beaver Dam, Brett (Kim) Russell of Sun Prairie, Christie Guertin of Wauwatosa; 9 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her siblings, Mary Wheat, Johnny "Buddy" Scruggs, Larry (LaRuth) Scruggs, all of Texas, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Marion, sister Bernice Jennings and other relatives.

In honoring Dorothy's wishes, a private family remembrance will be held at a later date.
