Dorothy "Dottie" Marie Kitelinger-Slager, age 58, of Waupun, passed away on Monday, March 17, 2025, at Prairie Ridge Assisted Living in Waupun.

Dottie was born in Madison on December 17, 1966, the daughter of Floyd and Janet (Krier) Kitelinger. She grew up on a dairy farm and was an active member of both 4-H and FFA. On June 10, 1988, she was united in marriage to her husband, Dan Slager, at Swan Park in Beaver Dam. She worked for Richelieu Foods and was a dedicated employee for 35 years.

Dottie enjoyed sewing and crafting, as well as biking and camping. An animal lover, she was especially fond of cats and her dog, Rufus. She truly cared about others—family, friends, and coworkers alike—and was known for giving great back massages. She also loved traveling, whether it was visiting Florida to see Karen, taking trips to Las Vegas, or going anywhere warm with a beach.

Dottie is survived by her husband, Dan Slager of Waupun; mother, Janet Kitelinger of Beaver Dam; father, Floyd (Maggie) Kitelinger of Hixton, WI; brother, Michael (Lisa) Kitelinger of Waterloo; sister, Karen (Mark) Kitelinger-Yorey of Milton, FL; and further survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her sister, Rita Mae Kitelinger-Davis.

A memorial gathering for Dottie will take place on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Faith Community Church, 401 Stone St., Beaver Dam. Visitation at 1:00 p.m.  Memorial service at 2:00 p.m.
